Job DescriptionGastrointestinal Associates of Northeast Tennessee is a private practice located in the Appalachian Highlands. With a 35-year history of quality care, we are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologist to join our growing group. With a newly renovated office space, a practice-owned state-of-the-art surgery center and infusion center, with in-house pathology, you’ll partner with a team that delivers cutting-edge technology, research opportunities and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Practice Highlights
Gastrointestinal Associates serves Ballad Health’s Johnson City Medical Center, the region’s only level 1 trauma center, the neighboring Veterans Administration Medical Center, and hosts a growing fellowship program through ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. Also offering:
- Colonoscopies
- Endoscopic ultrasound
- Capsule endoscopy
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Facility Details
Johnson City Medical Center is a 445-bed tertiary care facility located in Johnson City, Tennessee. The hospital operates Ballad Health’s Level I trauma center and is a comprehensive, acute care teaching hospital affiliated with East Tennessee State University and Mountain Home-VA Medical Center. Johnson City Medical Center is a major medical referral center and offers a full range of specialty and subspecialty care services, including a heart hospital, cancer center, stroke and neuroendovascular services, neurosurgery, orthopedic services, outpatient imaging, vascular care, advanced surgical services and a 43-bed intensive care unit.
